    Description

Here is a very hard to find red rubber band used for adding camouflage material to your German helmet.I have a very limited number of these old and used straps. The new looking ones I was selling, are gone for now and this is the last of the lot. I saved the best for last. During WW2 the Germans used everything possible to break up their profile. In the 1940's car and truck tires used rubber inner tubes that were made from red rubber. The Germans would cut these inner tubes into bands to attach to their helmets. This auction is for (1) red rubber band of this type, cut by hand as was done during the period. These are well used and show dirt and age. They have been used and they show it. These will fit right in with your original used helmet.
The last 4 pictures show an original wartime band of this type, just
    for historical reference
. The picture is representative of the band you will get, you may or may not get the exact band shown, your will be picked randomly from the few I have remaining.
