This is a reprint booklet from Ken Roberts Publishing with no publication date that assembles 48 pages of material about Leonard Bailey's inventions, manufacturing, patents, business contracts and litigation. It is about 4-1/8" by 6-1/2".
28 pages of it is a reprint of a Leonard Bailey catalog from 1876. The catalog is entitled "
Leonard Bailey & Co.'s Illustrated Catalogue and Price List of Patent Adjustable Iron Bench Planes, Try Squares, Bevels, Rules, Levels, Hammers, &c. &c."
The remaining 20 pages include many drawings from Bailey's patents, some reprints of other vintage advertisements and flyers, as well as documentation of the various changes in Bailey's business relationships.
It's in very good condition, looking nearly new. The only notable flaw I see is a little rust on the staples. There are no missing pages, no tears, no water damage, no stains, no writing.
