German m40 Beaded Luftschutz helmet, Q66 grey-green complete RARE Volks

German model 1938 Luftschutz helmet "Gladiator" type.
German M40 beaded Luftsthutz helmet
Very nice example of a beaded model 1940 Luftsthutz helmet.
Helmet shell has no dings,holes or cracks.
The initial dark blue LuftsChutz paint has been overpainted by brush, in a greyish-green at some moment, usually attributed to Volksstürm issue headgear.
The brushstrokes are still clearly visible
The liner is the late war Luftsthutz type liner, made of impregnated/coated cloth fixed to a cardboard liner band  and in very good condition.
The size is nowhere to be seen, but must be a big one since this is a size 66 shell and really too roomy for my 56 (US size 7) head.
The whole is maintained by 3 split pins, identical as those found on Wehrmacht type helmets; with their double slitted métal washer.
The chinstrap is made out of black leather and has a buckle and prong type of closure, all in good supple condition.
Shell is marked with the lotnumber S1890 Q66
Which means it's a size 66 shell manufactured my Quist, in Essingen.
