You will receive (3) Vintage Official BSA Uniform Shirts
A couple of them contain rare collectible patches.
The one shirt includes a
Kon Wapos Charter Member Order of the Arrow OA Lodge Flap
. AG-IM Lodge was part of Hiawatha Council which encompassed all of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. In 2012 Hiawatha Council dissolved and merged with Bay Lakes Council in Northeastern Wisconsin. Bay Lakes Council's lodge was Awase. With the merger of the two Councils, the two lodges decided to create a new lodge. Kon Wapos was decided. The used the snowshoe design of AG-IM and the white bear of Bay Lakes Council and took a snowshoe rabbit as it's new design. These lodge flaps were only issued to existing active members the year of the merger and that first year only. These lodge flaps alone are extremely rare and a must have for any OA Lodge Flap Collector.
It also has Bay Lakes Council limited edition Council Strip celebrating Scouting's 100 year anniversary and
various Scout Knots above the left pocket.
Bay Lakes Council Friends of Scouting Council Strip dated 2013. These were a one year print and only issued to Scouters who made a donation of at least 0 to the Council Friends of Scouting Campaign. Each year they focused on one point of the Scout Law. For 2013 it was Reverent.
The World Crest is also circled by the the BSA 100 year anniversary ring
A hidden gem here is the Eagle Scout Shirt with the Samoset Council Strip. The design for the Samoset Council Strip was created by
none other
than Walt Disney himself!! It depicts a smiling tent wearing a crown and their motto is "Where Camping is King". Fun fact is their council camp is Camp Tesomas, which is the Council name Samoset spelled in reverse. This is the camp I attended and served on as staff as a youth.
Buy them to wear, buy them to trade, your choice. One has a small hole in the arm and a small stain on the other arm. Another has small stains on the back. Great patches included. Could be used as Camp Shirts or when perfroming service. Don't ruin your good expensive formal uniform.
